PROFESSIONAL SHRINK WRAP TRAINING
What is SWEP?
SWEP (Shrink Wrap Encapsulation Professionals) is Safe Seal Wrap’s hands-on training and certification programme, designed to teach industry professionals how to install shrink wrap encapsulation systems safely, efficiently and to a professional standard.
Starting with SWEP-S for scaffolders, the course combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training using real equipment and scaffold structures. Participants learn the essential skills behind a successful installation, from site preparation and material handling to torch safety, seaming, taping, shrinking and final inspection.
With expert instruction, small class sizes and a focus on real-world applications, SWEP helps participants develop the knowledge and confidence to carry out professional shrink wrap installations. For scaffolding businesses, it also provides an opportunity to build in-house capability, improve consistency and reduce reliance on external installers.
SWEP is about more than learning to apply shrink wrap. It’s about understanding the process, working safely and getting the job done right.
